Management Internships..Part II

TheTHOUGHT

The students need to realize their true worth. They must learn the basics, try to not act like a follower. No one gets the Car, or Satellite phone on the first day of their job. Instead of dreaming about the facilities, they must dream about opportunities to learn.

A case:

An intern from some college yesterday amazed me. He was given a work to write a script on the way
Mr. P. Chidambaram ( Home Minister) put forth his views on naxal attacks in Chhattisgarh.
After initial searching from Internet, all he did was (ctrl+C and ctrl+ V) from various sources.
When asked why haven't you written anything that has never been written, his answer was

" I was not told to".
Imagine a young mind, in his 20's giving an answer, "I was not told".
What make you wait, the system, the people, the environment,
Yes, its a room for improvement for my organization too, to provide them an atmosphere were they do things what they think is right along with what is being told.
It hurts when we see interns, doing things what they are told, and trying to follow....

Next time you are given a chance, to do something, make it incredible, a work of an artist.
The Artist in you.......
